PHOENIQS Model as a Service provides access to open-weights AI models hosted exclusively in Switzerland. Users can evaluate the model catalogue for free and then activate API access through a monthly credit allowance.

# 1. Evaluation Plan

The Evaluation plan lets you test the product at no cost — no credit card and no monthly commitment.

# When to use this plan

Use the Evaluation plan when you want to test model quality, compare available models, or validate an initial use case before purchasing a paid subscription.

# 2. Base LLM API

The Base LLM API plan enables paid API access to all available AI models through a monthly usage credit allowance.

# How it works

Purchase a 50 CHF/month subscription. This creates an active Base LLM API subscription and enables access to the full model catalogue.

One subscription includes 50 credits per month. You can create as many API keys as you need — all keys draw from the same shared credit pool.

Credits are deducted based on each model's input and output token pricing per 1M tokens. Different models consume credits at different rates depending on their pricing.

Credits are non-transferable and expire at the end of each billing period.

Your subscription renews and bills each month regardless of how many credits you consume. Unused credits are not refunded or carried forward.

# Monthly renewal

The Base LLM API plan renews monthly. At each renewal, your credit allowance is reset to the included amount — it does not add to any unused balance from the previous period.

Example: If your plan includes 1,000 credits and you use 900 in a month, the remaining 100 expire at the end of that billing period. On renewal you receive 1,000 credits again, not 1,100.

# Running out of credits

Credits are your monthly inference budget. When your shared credit pool reaches zero, inference requests fail until your allowance increases. This can happen in two ways:

• Monthly renewal — if your subscription is still active, your allowance resets at the start of the next billing period.
• Additional LLM Credits — purchase and provision a top-up at any time to add credits for the current period. See How to add LLM Credits.

Example: If you have 1,000 credits per month and consume them all after 20 days, the API is unavailable for the remaining 10 days of that billing period unless you add a top-up.

# 3. Additional LLM Credits

The Additional LLM Credits plan adds recurring monthly credits to an active Base LLM API subscription.

# Prerequisites

You must have an active Base LLM API subscription before purchasing additional credits.

# How it works

1. Purchase a Base LLM API subscription.
2. Add an Additional LLM Credits subscription and choose how many credits to add each month (CHF 1 per credit, excl. VAT).
3. Go to Subscriptions in the Phoeniqs Console and provision the top-up. You will be asked for the Phoeniqs API Key of the Base LLM API you want to credit.
4. The additional credits are added to that subscription's shared credit pool.

Credits are deducted based on each model's input and output token pricing per 1M tokens. Credits are non-transferable and expire at the end of each billing period.

# Recurring subscription

Additional LLM Credits renew automatically each month. To add credits for a single month only, purchase the top-up and then cancel the subscription. You can use the credits for the remainder of that billing period.

# 4. Recommended User Flow

1. Start with the Evaluation plan to test the model catalogue at no cost.
2. Move to the Base LLM API plan when you need ongoing API access.
3. Create one or more API keys — all keys share the same monthly credit pool.
4. Monitor usage against the available credit allowance.
5. Add an Additional LLM Credits subscription if you need more credits than the Base LLM API includes.
